SSI was incorporated in 1981, the founders have created an environment where high quality, innovative scientific research and development can be conducted to meet the needs of its customers. SSI’s 36 scientists, the vast majority at the PhD level, have backgrounds in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Optics, Engineering, Remote Sensing and Signal Processing.
