TRX has developed an affordable solution to the problem of accurately tracking personnel on foot indoors (and in other GPS denied areas) without reliance upon infrastructure– a problem that has been researched for years but never solved by large companies and research labs. The TRX solution has the promise to improve safety for dismounted soldiers, police, firefighters, miners, and other security personnel that face danger every day. TRX is a product of the SBIR program; we would not be in business today if not for the support of the SBIR program and the mentoring of dedicated program managers. TRX revenue has grown by a factor of 10 and employment by a factor of 15 since our phase I award. TRX is women owned and operated.
